    1. My dad worked grave yard shifts for forest lawn cemetery-Hollywood Hills in the early 70’s. He recently told me about an experience he had while working there. On this day where he was scheduled for a gray yard shift. As he was was exiting forest lawn drive off the 134 freeway he noticed a lady standing alone under the freeway under path of forest lawn drive. She was well dressed in white and motioning with her hand to her ear as if she needed help. My dad stopped and asked if she was ok. She did not reply back. He let her in the car and told her he would take her to a pay phone. But first he needed to clock in for work. He drove to the office which was a short distance and clocked in. The lady was still in his car when he returned. He got back onto the 134 freeway and exited on Victory blvd. gave her change for the phone and dropped her off at the nearest pay phone. As he was driving away he looked back into his rear view mirror and saw her floating back towards him as he was heading back to work. Later that morning he told his co-workers about what happened with the lady he picked up. No one believed him and accused him of being drunk. He never told anyone else about his experience until recently. I showed him a picture of the actress that jumped off the Hollywood sign. The first thing that caught his eyes where the clothes she was wearing in the picture looked similar to what the lady was wearing when he picked her up.
