Highgate Cemetery

You are here Home  > Cemeteries >  Highgate Cemetery

The two most commonly seen ghosts are that of a woman in grey often searching around frantically (the common belief is that she’s looking for her children whom she killed) and a robed man who can be viewed from afar, but disappears when viewed too close. Another figure is said to stand behind the cemetery gates and watch passer-bys.

  1. May I also note that Spring heeled jack, the terror of london, was spotted here, and that a man whose car broke down by the cemetery came face-to-face with a ghoul with glowing red eyes that stared at him through the gate, and that the ghost of a nun is said to be seen passing over the graves.
