The 1880’s historic hotel burnt to the ground just a decade after its construction, but phoenix-like rose from the ashes to form the successful establishment it is today. The building, however, has had a darker past, with tales being told of the days where the hotel operated as a bordello and a haven for bootleggers. Reports of paranormal activity here range from ghostly laughter and voices, disembodied footsteps, furniture being shifted around rooms at night by unseen hands to the apparition of a woman who appears behind guests in mirrors.

After hearing of the stories at the Grant House from a guy I worked with I wanted to check it out. Because his Dad owned it at the time we had the run of the place. Because that place was so active that night I was hooked on ghost hunting and formed North Metro Paranormal and returned many times after never disappointed.
