Grand Theater began in 1928, and is the site of many an unexplained noise or sight. The ghost in residence, according to eyewitnesses of apparitions, is a former theater manager who passed away more than a decade ago but apparently wasn’t ready to quit his job.

  1. My boyfriends band played a show at the Grand theatre a couple years ago, as we were in the incredibly cold hallway waiting to go up on to the stage an old juke box came on. We went over to the juke box to try to turn it off thinking there was just something wrong with it. Then one of the guys noticed it wasn’t even plugged in. After they got done playing their show we were walking back down the hallway the damn thing turned on again. We told some of the people working there about and they told us about it being haunted.

    • I had a dance competition there once. I had a strange feeling. In the dance we did we knew what we were doing. All of the sudden we all stopped. I couldn’t move for a second. Although the we got 3rd place for it, it wasn’t an odd experience.

  2. I was in the third grade and my friend and I were there on a field trip for our school. We were waiting for the play we were about to see to begin so we were talking. All of a sudden my friend stopped talking, dead in her tracks and pointed at the corner asking, “Do you see that?” I looked over and all I saw was flash of black.
