There’s an area of trailer homes called the “Astor Campsites” on Gobble(r) Road in Astor, Florida where a “glowing white male” is reported to have been seen walking down the road at night. Mapping this location is a bit tricky because sometimes it comes up as “Turkey Drive” and other times “Gobble Road”. Both locations are within a stone’s throw of each other. If any of our readers can provide additional information though, we’d really appreciate it!

At least one member of a local paranormal group has warned that this area may not be ideal for ghost hunting due to one or more “dangerous locals” that lives in the area. Proceed with caution!

  1. I just found this article and couldn’t believe it! Several years ago me and two buddies were in the road, about half way down the picture from above which at the time was located directly in front of my parents. It was around 1 am and we were out just foolin, had a bonfire going and what not when I looked up and at the very end of that picture gobbler road dead ends into fern street. There I saw a huge glowing white man, walking a glowing dog!!! All 3 of us seen them, and days later just the glowing man spotted again. Well, about a year later my stepfather was landclearing the property next door when we found an old marble headstone…. it was that for a dog, telling by name and age and comments…anyways I can’t believe people have taken interest to this. Feel free, email me, and I can give detailed info on this locations layout!
