The Glore Psychiatric Museum is rumored to be haunted by long-dead patients who are still hoping that their mental illness can be cured. Apparitions seen here include a sharply dressed man and an elderly man, and in the basement, the motion detector is often set off when no one is down there. Unexplained sounds heard here include a woman’s voice asking for help, whimpering and crying. Some have seen a shadowy man who passed by them muttering, and other witnesses were frightened by a man’s apparition running along the basement hallway and shouting “Why are you here? Get out!”

    1. My fiancee is in the treatment facility also, and he works on the overnight crew cleaning, he told me about a might that they were up on the 4th floor cleaning and him and another inmate heard tapping on the window. And he said they always here whispering or people walking and no one will be there.

    2. Went through the museum. Talked to several female spirits and a male who was yelling at me to get out on the fourth floor. Haunted, just takes the spirits a bit of time to warm up to you. Great place for mediums, like me!

    3. Went here with my parents, both skeptics. The basement was a little creepy but when I first put my foot over the threshold on the top floor I IMMEDIATELY got cold chills and felt that someone was whispering to me. I kept feeling like I should leave. As soon as we left that floor I felt normal again. Heard some unexplained creakings behind me in certain areas. Wish I had brought a tape recorder!

My husband is in the treatment facility and yesterday he was sleeping and, his bed Started to shake. He thought somebody was playing a game so he quickly jumped off the top bunk and looked and nobody was there ,he picked up the blanket on the bottom bunk and looked under bed and nobody was there he said there was absolutely no way anybody had time to escape the Room in that short amount of time. When he told me I decided to look it up and that’s when I found out other people had similar experiences I decided to share my story.
