A green, glowing mist is sometimes seen. Ghosts of those who died during the influenza epidemic of the early 20th century will manifest on camera or through EVP.

  1. A few years back I had to take my brother here to do research, he needed me to take pictures for his report so I proceeded to do so. When taking pictures my camera suddenly shut off, without any battery warning or anything. I though why would it do that when the camera is brand new? But I shrugged it off. When we got back into our car, I tried to turn it back on, and it came on as normal, long enough to see the pictures and in one of them, I could clearly make out a man with a mustache and old style clothing standing behind a headstone! But before I could show anyone the camera died again! I went home to try and download it on my computer but it wouldn’t work. I was able to turn my camera on one more time and try and see it but couldn’t so I had no choice but to delete it so I could have my camera back. When I deleted it, it went completely back to normal. But to this day I have no idea what happened. I am still scared of that place.

  2. In the late 70’s, I would drive by that cemetary countless times, at all hours of day or night. I was raised on one of the wood streets and my best friend lived off 14th st, on Miramonte. I started driving up there when I was 17 years old until I left Riverside at 22 years. One evening as I was driving from Miramonte onto 14th, there was a selerium, or whatever they called it on the right and streets with homes on the left. I was about halfway down the street, driving down the hill and coming up, and just seemed to appear, was a young teen looking girl. She appeared albino, sunken dark eyes and wearing black. It was just past dusk to dark. She looked at me straight on, without emotion. I remember thinking “where did she come from?” I just kept driving, but remember seeing her contine walking up hill in my rearview. I remember the chill I got and a sad feeling. I can’t remember if I ever mentioned it to anyone, maybe my friend, but it was just forgotten and never happened again. It has stayed with me all these years and as I have grown and now a nurse, it makes sense, I truly could of seen something from that cemetary. Often wondered if anyone else ever saw her. It crossed my mind that an albino cancer girl could of been out for a stroll, but she appeared dead looking. Probably not a real person.
