  1. I was told by one of the employees that they have heard footsteps in the attic and other strange things. This same person told me that a coworker of hers was putting boxes in the attic, came down the steps screaming and claimed to have seen a ghost. She then quit and never came back.

  2. I knew the previous owners when this was the post office restaurant back in the early 80’s. I remember sitting around having drinks at the bar and the post office boxes were behind the bar and hearing stories of this girl who was heard and some telling stories of the sighting they had witnessed.most of all I remember the wonderful French food (I think the chefs name was Wendy) I would love to come back and visit!

  3. Me and my wife first visit and experienced the two wall light flicker while sitting at our table. We were alone and first customers before the crowd showed up.My wife picked up spiritual sense of a 1800 girl. The waitress came over and found out this restaurant is active with the paranormal. Food is good definitely come back!

  4. My parents went to the restaurant. When they came home they shared that the lights were turned off at the breaker. None of the employees working that night had the keys to the basement so no one could have turned the lights off. They also said that employees shared that the old post office mailboxes would all be open when they came to work even though no one could ever find the keys to open the boxes.

  5. There are places in coatesville not mentioned. First the elephant in the room. Lukens Steel. Having worked mostly midnight shift I can attest to that. Locat a book they gave us a few years back. Listed all the deaths. Where they happened and what happened. I need more than one hand to count the deaths when I was there. Some I was close to. Another is the lady in the well. Kid hit a young lady because she wouldn’t let him drive her home. Then stuffed the body down an old farm well.

  6. When this place was the post office restaurant in the early 1980s, I was a regular customer and knew the prior proprietors. I can still vividly recall having a drink at the bar, where the post office boxes were located behind the bar, and listening to various people recount their experiences of seeing or hearing the lady in question, as well as the sightings they too had seen or heard. I would love to come back and visit, especially since I have such fond memories of the delicious French cuisine (I believe the chef’s name was Wendy).

  7. Great article. I’ve been checking this blog constantly and I’m impressed! Extremely useful information, especially the last part where wheel spinner made me process a lot of information. I have been looking for this information for a long time. thanks and good luck!
