This is a costume store in the back of a small shopping center on 1408 N. Carpenter Rd. in SW Modesto, CA. I've talked to the owner of this store before and she showed me a great full body apparition caught on camera. I've also watched video clips of a ghost hunting group that's investigated the location and documented occurrences. There's a coffin from Argentina I believe in the back of the store that is purported to be haunted along with another coffin. Things have been moved around in the store and caught on camera.       Funny cause there are curtains on windows & you cannot see inside from the road!

    I think the craziest thing to happen to me is a step stool was moved out into the middle of the walk way and it had did it more then once in one day. Also a picture was taken of someone standing in the doorway and no one els was here.

    The current location of Daydreams and Nightmares is 1219 7th St, Modesto, CA 95354 ·(purple building behind Spookadar) It's a former mortuary and cremated remains were still on the property when purchased. The spirits follow the owner and antiques along with likely being from the mortuary itself as well as the previous business (St. Clair Theatre) downtown...proceeded by the address on Carpenter Rd.     I would like to share with you guy about my experience with DreamDay and Nightmare. At the first, the lady guide us around in the DreamDay and Nightmare store before we started Investigation. We went in the old office (currently a room) and she told me the guy who work in office. He had been took lady and put her in the closest which in his office. The lady just was stuck in the closest. Then I did open the door and look in the closest. After that, I was started Investigation for a while then I went to office by myself. I notice the door was open and I wondering why the door is open. I’m not sure about it and I did ask lady who did guide us around “did you open the door?”. She said “none”. I decided to set the camera with IR light on chair and chair is in corner. I left it for a while and I went to other room. One of my partner went into office and started Investigation. That where started activities in the office. You guy can see the shadow is in corner and playing with my IR light with camera. Shadow just did turn Ir Light off and on like 6 time. Make sure look at Right Side that where shadow is in corner.

    My work is near this location & we have had strange things happening. Our cameras have caught trash cans tipping over with nobody around, a tool box popping open on it's own. One video captures a ball of light (good size, looked bigger than a softball) floating down the isles. In the ladies restroom, we keep smelling a strong body odor smell that will not be there & then all of a sudden it is & then it dissipates. Some of the guys say things have fallen off of the shelves when they are all alone. We really believe we have a ghost here. It's just too strange. We are wondering if our neighbor businesses are experiencing these strange things.
