Apparitions are seen wandering the fields at night, especially around the metal sheds off the roads. Illicit meth labs? Ghostly happenings? You decide.

  1. Debunked: shadow figures that can be seen from the road are caused by headlights passing by and street lights hitting the fencing and trees.

  2. We lived across the street from here and I will be the first to say it is haunted. There is a man, a little boy and a lady that stays by the metal sheds and I have also seen him walk across the street. I will also say he likes to scare people.

  3. I live on a side street off of this road, less than a mile away from the metal sheds mentioned here. This morning my boyfriend and I both distinctly heard the disembodied voice of a young man say “Hello” in our bedroom. We were the only ones around, and I checked my cell phone to eliminate the possibility that the voice could have come from it. There was a strange, hollow whooshing sound that preceded the voice, like it was coming out of a tunnel. Very odd.

  5. We have lived on Coteau Rd. For almost 50 years and have had experiences since we moved here when I was little. Our family and many people who have visited over the years have had experiences. Everyone in my family knows our property is definitely haunted.

So one night when I was driving home from work in 2013, like a little after 1am, heading to bayou blue I had just passed by the cemetary and church on coteau road and I had to make a left hand turn to go down country estates drive. There was a woman walking on the shoulder of the road on country estates drive by the elementary school. She had a white night gown on as if she crawled out of bed or out of a coffin and she had no expression on here face. Almost moving like a lifeless person and I could see thru her and I knew something was not right. Ironically she was walking in the direction where just 150 yards down the road there was a car accident in 2006 that someone died in on country estates drive and this thing was walking tord that site where you can see crosses on the side the road there. Freaked me out, I kept looking to see if I see her again every night that I went home from work, never saw her again. She had long black hair and a white night gown.
