  1. Stayed here on August 14, 2021 with a friend – room 413. For hours we just couldn’t fall asleep. Around 1am shortly after last chatting about still being awake my friend start making these demonic wailing sounds. I shook her and called her name as it went on for 6 or 7 seconds. When it was over she didn’t know what it was that had come over her but felt it as it was happening. We didn’t know if it was a seizure or something paranormal. When we managed to turn one of the bedside lights on we both opened our phones at the same time. The time was 1:12am. Later I would learn that the woman who supposedly committed suicide in this hotel did so in room 112. I immediately googled “haunted hotels in Vermont” and bingo — multiple results confirmed this location. I continued to research the woman’s death and found a Wall Street Journal article about it. A subsequent article was found from a year or two later about the victim finally being identified.

We packed our stuff and left.
