  1. Not real sure if the museum is actually haunted, but I spent 6 years in the nursing home located behind this museum, and Oceana is certainly haunted!!!

  2. I used to work here for years, and I’ve had numerous encounters with the ghosts here. Mostly a little girl, she would hold my hand, or follow myself or the other tour guides, you could just “feel” she was there. Another ghosts was a man who we believed to be the county’s first court crier, his chair is on display in one of the rooms upstairs and in a photo hos reflection can be seen in the window looking into the room. The third spirit was in the attic of the older section of the house, and only appeared as a shadow, it was not friendly like the other two there was a sense of dread and anxiety whenever it made itself known and would ruin your day until you left.
