Butcher Hill is a small hill in Lodi, NY, popular with trail hikers. Some who visit it though claim to hear the eerie sound of children playing, when obviously no children are anywhere around.

  1. We lived in a house near lodi on a dirt road when our kids were all small. A lot of strange things happened there. I would be working in the kitchen and could hear what sounded like children laughing in a loft in the back room. That’s just one happening . There’s quite a few more that would take too long to write about.

  2. Yeah there are houses back there, these claims of hearing children playing were probably from children playing no matter how crazy that seems.
