Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant

You are here Home  > Restaurants and Bars >  Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant

Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant was built over a century ago and is haunted. The ghost is believed to be Charlie Yuen, a former chef who perished in a car accident in 1938, and whose dying wish was to be buried near the restaurant where he had been employed all his life. Although he was buried in China, his ghost has been seen in the private dining room. Lights and the stereo have been known to come on by themselves as well.

  1. I work here as a server, and recently, our beer taps were suddenly turned off. They were working usual one night, and then suddenly they stopped working. When we went downstairs to check if they had broke, they were simply switched off. All of the staff, including me, believe it was Charlie, as he is known to cause mischief around the restaurant.

  2. we heard this place was haunted by a spirit here named charlie, so we came here to check it out as we live around there, and we went with family and as soon as we entered the area of the parking lots we got such a bad feeling like there was a presence there. we had to leave because we all got lightheaded and a sick feeling. Definitely something there.

    • p.s, the photo above was taken on the road to leave, and in this photo seems to look like a face. I see some reseblences to Charlie, like the nose. But it could be the reflection of leaves or something else, but still scary. This place at night was horrifying. We went around 11:30ish. Our aunt was in the car with us and she can sense spirits and stuff like shes very spirtual and even she said the feeling wasnt good. Very VERY scary. Something is definently here roaming the area.
