You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Bonnie Castle

Bonnie Castle, now reported to be closed, was once a bed-and-breakfast inn. Ghosts reported here include a woman named Mary who dislikes electricity, a spectral cat, and a man who is said to be the original owner. Strange sounds have been reported coming from the building at all hours of the night, but the spirits here are said to be friendly.

  1. I lived in the Bonnie Castle for a few years. It is haunted. I didn’t believe in ghost before living here. I had doors slam right in front of me with no one on the other side. I heard someone play our piano when no one in our home could play. I encountered one on the stairs on a very dark night. I first felt his presence and then heard a very loud step toward me. I think they were friendly, but they still made me feel uncomfortable living there.

      • Near the train tracks, it’s a big white mansion. It’s not that far from the castle. I used to live in front of it too my cousins mom is real aged to the woman who stays in it. In the morning you can see a ghost of a little girl in the window.

  2. I stayed there close by in the walking dead town and I arived there at night to see a face in the window it vanished soon after and I also heard shouting while on a night stroll

  3. Yea I have lived there with Mr and Mrs B. Along with other kids that where in foster care. We always heard piano noises and the kitchen light wouldn’t stay on. It always cuts off somehow. You rarely see it when it happens but it always cuts off. Also it sounds like someone would walk on the stairs.
