Angel Rose Bed and Breakfast Inn

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Angel Rose Bed and Breakfast Inn

The 1881 bed and breakfast is one of only a few historic buildings left on the southern coast of this small township, as many have been destroyed by hurricanes, neglect and fire over the course of a century. Paranormal activity reported at this location includes lights turning on and off by themselves, the apparition of a woman in an old-fashioned dress who appears in mirrors, disembodied footsteps and a spirit with a penchant for saltwater taffy.

  1. We have stayed there and there is a visitor that visited the day we took a tour of the house would like to stay again and see if he returns again”

  2. I will sometimes ride by the ole mansion when my husband & I go for a ride in our golf cart. Even though I am a fan of shows about spirits, I never put two & two together whenever I passed the house. On many occasions, I would see someone dressed in white or period clothing in the window upstairs on the second floor that matched the age of the home but thought her to be a tour guide or visitor. Then one-day on the show Most Haunted Places in America, I happen to hear about the ghost of a woman at this Inn. I have always had the ability to see and hear things others could not, and now that I know what it was that I saw, I’ll just wave next time she appears.
