Woodbridge Cemetery

Woodbridge Cemetery is considered by many to be one of the most haunted places in the Orlando area, though few sources provide any sort of detail on what exactly has been seen and experienced there. There are claims that what exists there now is only part of what was once a much larger cemetery, and that many of the nearby buildings (particularly the Winn-Dixie across South St) are built on top of hundreds of graves.

    1. i have caught quite a few spirit orb pictures here, also they have recently changed the sign and started opening the gates much more frequently.

      • My son and I have taken a few pictures in that cemetery. We enjoy the history behind the years of places like this. He had taken some pics with his DSXL.. He had told me at the time that it looked as if there were faces looking from the corners of some of the older graves. We weren’t looking for anything in particular and quite a few weeks later we were looking at them. We noticed that some of the pics looked like there were faces in them. He isn’t one of those kids that causes trouble or makes things up. He also doesn’t try manipulating or “playing” with pics, We do believe this faces are however; the people that are buried there watching over each other.

    2. Lived on that street all my life, no way is there a history of anything like hauntings. But I am really pleased to see that some group is trying to improve the grave yard. The property that the Winn Dixie is on was never, ever a part of that grave yard and the other side of the Winn Dixie was a community baptist church, Prairie Lake Baptist, where I, and a lot of area folks went to church until they sold the property b/c it was PRIME property. Lot’s of luck with your theory, but UH NO.

    3. I live in Florida and I have experienced some crazy stuff. This is not listed but there is a bridge that people cross over everyday, to and from places, but people don’t know exactly what happened at that bridge but there was a suicide there. Some crazy old man went down by the boats and parked his car there. Then he went on top of the bridge and jumped off. Police couldn’t find his body but they have witnesses that saw what happened form their cars. They still haven’t found his body. They think that a water animal such as a alligator ate his body. Pretty creepy huh?

      • Lexie- I live in Seminole County and the bridge that goes towards the beach, over the St. John’s River is known to have incidents such as that. A recent one was about a school bus driver that ran off the road and lost her life as well as another woman that drove her car in to commit suicide. These two have been documented and they had discovered the bodies of these two account by people going under the bridge to fish. That part of the water is also filled with gators and there have been people who have fallen overboard in the river never to be found or if they were lucky enough, it wasn’t the entire body.
