The Grey Lady is said to haunt this historic late-1800s library building, and she brings apparitions, the scent of perfume, cold spots, strange noises, and more. The water and electricity are also known to turn on and off, and furniture and objects move by themselves. Ghost tours are held in October so that visitors can look for the Grey Lady.

My brother worked here n the 80’s as a janitor after the library closed for the day. Sometimes I would go help him polish the wood areas of the building. We were downstairs n the basement getting supplies when something lifted my hair into the air and then touched my neck. I turned around and I saw a lady behind me and then she just completely disappeared. It was awesome! I’ve also gotten a few pics of the woman, a child and a man. I love Willard library!
