Tivoli Saloon

You are here Home  > Restaurants and Bars >  Tivoli Saloon

The Tivoli Saloon was built in 1893 as a saloon and fine restaurant on the lower floor, and a brothel and speakeasy on the upper floor. Employees of The Chamber of Commerce (who formerly worked in the building) reported sighting the apparition of a woman in a long flowing gown on the stairs, as did staff working at a quaint coffee shop on the ground floor. She has been staring down into the street after closing hours, and many believe she was a prostitute who was murdered inside the former saloon. Other paranormal occurrences include objects moving by themselves, doors opening and closing, lights that are turned on and off by an unseen presence and wails and moans coming from the upper floor.
