    1. Hi,

I have spent quite a bit of time at the Thomas Divide Overlook. After looking at a topographical map I have concluded that the lights people have reported seeing are vehicles traveling along Heintooga Ridge Road across the valley from the overlook.

    2. I’ve seen the lights in this video many times and they probably are cars. But i’ve seen other lights, different colored lights move straight up and down from the valley into the sky and from the sky into the valley. I’ve also seen them move horizontally across the ridge and valley at tremendous speeds.

    3. Growing up in the area I have been to this overlook several times. Once the lights were in the valley below making a straight line and then stopping and going back the other way then faded out. When you are familiar with the area you can tell what is car lights on the mountain and what is not. You also know that there is no way the lights in the valley can move in a straight line. So yes, I do believe in the lights at Thomas Divide.
