The Soap Factory

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  The Soap Factory

The old 1880s soap factory, now an experimental art venue, is said to be a doozy of a haunted site, based partly on the reality that soap was made from animal fat (allegedly from thousands of strangled stray dogs and the like). Not only that, but before it was a soap factory, the site was said to produce limbs for injured Civil War soldiers. The creepy site is said to smell of sulphur and be full of demonic entities, some of which may take over the actors as they perform.

    1. One time, around seven years ago. I was in the basement and I had to make “chee.” I found a toilet that I was pretty sure was in working condition. I made “chee”and before I could flush it, I heard a voice say,” That sure is a lot of soap!” I looked around and saw no one. I continued making chee and I heard it again,” That really is a lot of soap!” I then realized what the voice was talking about. Apparently, my chee (urine) had a lot of foam and it looked like soap in the toilet. I then said,”Yes, it sure does look like a lot of soap!” I then got dressed and was about to walk out, when the voice said again,” Don’t forget to wash your hands, and use soap! I just laughed and walked away.” Man, was I scared! “
