This 1890s-era hotel building is now said to be privately owned, so please respect the owners’ privacy.

Folks say that they’ve seen strange lights and had eerie feelings as they walked past this building, and according to local legend there are at least three ghosts here. A father and son are said to have shot each other here during an 1800s dispute, and rumor has it that their ghosts scared one woman so badly that she hanged herself from the balcony. Her ghost has been seen by witnesses in the upstairs hall.

  1. Can confirm. I grew up part of my child life in the cabin across from it. My mom cleaned it as a odd job, and we used to sneak around it. We heard and seen weird stuff, and my mom felt someone watching her.

  2. I lived there for six months…used to be a paranormal investigator myself…definitely more than a residual haunting here. Had lights turn off and on…boy throwing food..sandwiches all across room…orbs caught in photos…mischievous spirits and the balcony is one of sulphur smells and hot temperatures…despair feelings up there.
