In Christine’s Room (named after the woman who once occupied it), Christine can be seen standing by the window. She is usually very solemn and believed to be mourning her children.

As the owner of the home I can clarify that Christine’s Room was “Maggie’s Room,” named after the first wife of Mr.. Richardson that died unexpectedly of an intestinal illness in her 30’s. For decades, it is said that she sometimes peers from the bedroom window to look after the children playing in the yard outside. We’ve never had an experience with Mrs. Richardson, we like to assume that if she exists, she’s content with the current caretakers of her beautiful home.
