The Precinct Office Center

This historic former jailhouse is now the county office, but has a haunting dating back to the turn of the nineteenth century. Prisoners were reportedly frightened by a apparition robed in white, who repeatedly floated past their cells without making a sound before vanishing. This manifestation has made various appearances since then for well over a century.

  1. I have been a resident of West Union for 33 years now and have walked its streets for many years before driving. I was walking by this place one night before it became precinct offices which it’s now FRS Transportation, anyways I always got this erie feeling and one night around 1:30am I looked up at it and I noticed a white glare in the window and as I kept looking I noticed it looked like a person looking and watching me walk around the corner, every hair on my neck stood up and I was getting the hell out of there.
