The Plantation House

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  The Plantation House

Dating back to 1832, this old home is known locally as “The Plantation House.” It operated for many years as a bed and breakfast, but as of 2014 it is on the market for any interested buyers. There have long been sightings reported of the ghost of Mr Davis, the former owner of the house who took his life in the 1920s. He flirts with women who stay at the house, touching their backs and blowing against their necks.

I was on here just goofing around looking at stuff, and then I stop in my tracks wheh I saw this! About three and a half years ago we went to go look at this house, it was for sale! The house is absolutely stunning! It has an aura about it is definitely captivating. But myself and my children have always had a 6th sense. As we were going to the house admiring its beauty, we got up into the second floor the house. , there is a set of stairs and go up to the third floor there are absolutely beautiful, but something just isn’t right about it. We got a very off vibe. Then my daughter complain about something touching her neck after that she had what looked like a scratch in that spot. She said she kept getting this bad vibe like something was looking at her! As beautiful as that house is, I told the realtor there was no way we would be getting that house. And then I see you there! My daughters going to freak when she read the part about the man messing with her neck

  2. One year for Halloween I went to the Buena Vista as I was too old to trick or treat but too young to go to a party. I went when the Ghost Hunters were there! Anyways fast forward.. We were told to go to the bathroom if we needed to before we went to the graveyard. They told us we had to bathrooms to choose from. The dead boys bathroom or the dead girls bathroom. Well my friends and I decided to go to the dead girls bathroom. We finally got to the bathroom and there was no way were we closing the door so three girls stood in the doorway, one on the toilet and me at the sink. There was a mirror above the sink. I looked in the mirror and saw a little open hatch that goes into the attic I assumed. Anyways, when I saw that. I decided to go over there and close it. The lock on it was a hook and drop. So I pushed it closed and hooked it and as I turned around in the mirror I saw the hatch sling open. Me and all my friends ran.
