Lord Ninian Edward Crichton-Stuart died tragically in battle during World War I; he is said to be here, generally more often near election nights. The museum architect, Dunbar Smith, had his ashes interred here, but due to renovations, the remains were moved. Smith now haunts the corridors and causes a calamity. EVPs pick up his voice quite often.
