The upscale Grill Room, in the former 1873 Gildner Hotel, is believed to be haunted by a ghost in a cowboy hat and another of a little girl the staff has nicknamed Emily.

  1. This is to update the information you have posted above. It is not called The Grill Room, it’s called The Kirby. Emily is not a little girl, she was a young lady!! There are many more stories to this place, believe me! You never know what you might see while visiting the place 🙂

  2. Thought this was really weird. I just came to this site. I’ve been going to Grand Haven since I was 5 years old and currently have a summer home there. My parents and I venture to the Kirby alot with family friends, ect. My name is Emily. I would hear my name alot there and wonder asking my parents what they needed. Welp, next time I’m up there I am going to be a little more attuned to my surroundings.
