    1. I caught numerous orbs on camera in my room, in the hallway, and in the lobby. I also regularly hear walking around above/below me/behind me. This place is definitely worth visiting, and it’s more devious than negative. 😉

    2. I stayed here recently. Place was beautiful & the brunch was great. However, when we were checking out in the morning my wife could not find her shoes. We looked all over the room for a half hr and eventually noticed her shoes were hanging on the side of the television that’s up on the wall. We know for sure neither one of us put them there.

    3. Lived in bay head all my life . Dont want to sound like a wacko. But when i worked at the greenville as a teenager , up on the 3rd floor you could hear childrens laughter and singing in the colder months when the place was empty. Scared the crap out of me many times..

    4. In August of 2014 we stayed on the third floor.after going out to dinner we came back to the room to sleep. While in the room I felt a clamyness around me. While getting ready for bed, I heard children playing in the hall outside room. I commented to my wife, why were children up so late.
We went to bed and I awoke on the morning with a slimy feeling and a dull headache. We showered and dressed and checked out.
It wasn’t until a few weeks later that I read an article about this haunted hotel.
I experienced it first hand and would never go back again

    5. Stayed here one weekend. Went to my room to take an afternoon nap. Bed began to vibrate ever so gently but it was very noticeable – I assumed it was nothing at that time, chalking it up to the place being old. Then during the night I woke up at 4am and heard a child crying loudly, “Mommy it burns!” which seemed to be coming from right outside my window, somewhere close by on the grounds. Years later I read about this place being haunted and suddenly remembered my odd experience from that weekend.
