The Green

The apparition of an angry judge is said to walk among the tombstones nearby and out onto the Green. The historic park near the courthouse and the State House, laid out in 1717, is the site where Delaware voted to ratify the U.S. Constitution.

  1. My mom worked at the court house on the green as a security officer. So one night my twin sister and I was with my mom and we heard the elevator. We told our mother she then thought someone was in the building that wasn’t supposed too be. So she proceeded to do her rounds. As we approached the elivater shaft, the elivater was going up and down by itself. Or was it the judge? I don’t know. She then hit the up button and it came down n the doors opened and there wasn’t any one there. Our mother then started telling us about the judge that had got shot when he was convicting a man, thats the man said to have shot the judge.
