The 1842 Tabernacle Cemetery is said to be haunted. The apparition of a man has been seen next to a tree right behind the cemetery sign, and flashes of unexplained light have been seen flashing or shining on visitors.

Because of vandalism, the public is not allowed on the property and trespassers will be prosecuted.

  1. I have driving past this many times and several times a deer has ran on the side of my car and a black cat has crossed the road. Ive known other people who have experianced this also. And ive seen the flashes of lights,

  2. My steering gave out right next to this cemetery. Although I was driving too fast, it really felt as though the wheel was pulled from me. Additionally, electronic devices have been known to undergo various malfunctions around there. There is a rumor that an elderly woman whose husband is buried there purchased a house across the valley (~1mi away) because she believes she can see him there every once in a while via binoculars. I haven’t any primary confirmation of this though. Two young men died in a car accident less than a quarter mile away from this cemetery around a year ago. Both are strongly missed.

  3. Awhile back I was at this cemetary and took a few pictures on a bench, in 3 photos we caught an apparition next to me, in the first 2 it was there as if standing to be in the picture, then in the 3rd a blur of it as it looked to be moving away… Have also seen lights in the distance and my car has stalled once before when trying to leave.

  4. I feel like pple created the idea of this place being hunted just because the area is really old. When i was 14 my friends from different middle chools and highschools allway drove there at night for fun even pulled over and turned of our cars to make it funner for the girls. I do admit there was more than 4 or 5 times we all saw lights coming from the cementery and during the day an old man wearing blue jean overalls and while lo sleeves deep into thec ementery during the day

  5. I was their with my mom and a few friends and we have to leave because a black truck with a guy inside with was chasing us back to the main road

  6. A buddy of mine and I used to ghost hunt here a few years ago before we started having run ins with police. We would take recorders and whatnot to do small investigations. On one occasion I had my shoelace pulled out as I watched, we saw numerous orbs and had one night where, we heard several voices having conversations in the woods surrounding the cemetery. Really cool place. Went there a few months ago out of nostalgia and it was completely roped off with police tape
