Sugar Loaf Mountain Motel

A ghost log is kept in the rooms so that guests can write down any unusual experiences. In the Doll Room, guests have reported unexplained heavy breathing, footsteps, laughter, and doors opening and closing. Other rooms have seen their share of strangeness, including the fact that digital alarm clocks never seem to work on the premises.

  1. Stayed at the Sugar Loaf in October 2014 and it was just before Halloween was woken ttwice by my bed vibrating and a very loud noise . This noise did not wake my husband but I sure did when I jumped over to his bed scared to my wits end . I did not know that this place was haunted until I spoke to the lady that owned it and she said it was known for it hauntings. Great place to stay but be aware of things that do go bump in the night. Will visit Virginia City again but to scared to stay back at the Sugar Loaf Motel. What an experience we had. The Aussies
