Sturges Park

Local legends say the park’s old bathroom is haunted. Witnesses have seen names written in blood on the mirror. Also reported on the premises have been floating orbs and the apparition of Old man Sturges, an 1880s businessman who lived next to the park.

  1. I used to live there, I had heard superstitions about old man Sturges, thought it was a lie, and then saw blood on the mirror and NEVER stepped foot in that bathroom again!

    • Yeah it has but where it was you still feel a bit weird when you are there. All around sturges it just feels a little strange, the most probably at the fountain bit down by the lake and the new bathrooms.

  2. I agree with Sam. This has locally been known to have been a lie.
    The orb reports do continue and there are some theories on whether or not it’s the Sturgis family or possibly Native American based.

  3. This is not true I use to live there and I would go to that park everyday and all you see there os trees kids adults waves and you hear kids yelling and playing. Yeah the bathrooms are scary but their not haunted. The inside…. Inside their are some hauntings and that is true because my grandma worked their and she saw ghosts there, but the bathrooms and park ARE NOT HAUNTED!!
