The inn has a single ghost, a woman with dark hair and red lips with only a severed head visible who fades away when approached. Screams and crying have also been heard in the inn.

kept an office in the building before it was retrofitted as an inn. in 1997 as leaving the building, late at night, witnessed a group of 1880’s persons reflected in the interior shop windows. we stood and contemplated each other for a few moments. my wife and i stood and related descriptions of each spirit as confirmation of what we witnessed. they seemed to be looking back with a similar gaze.
the one and only time in 62 years that i have experienced something of this sort.
