The allegedly haunted Seattle Underground Tunnels, according to Ghost Hunters, are available for touring. Two popular paranormal hot spots at this historic area are a former prostitute hangout and a bank vault. Some feel that the ghostly voices heard here are simply normal sounds coming down from the street level, but others maintain that spirits from the past linger in this subterranean labyrinth.

We had a very good tour here after the ghost hunters had been, with a guide who looked like Mario Battali and could tell stories like Red Dwarf. He was happy to linger after the ofiical part and chat and he said neither he nor any other guides had any encounters and showed a few spots in the ceilings where cracks or windows would allow in very filtered sounds. Remember no one died in the fires that ravaged Seattle. so peopel who would have worked here, would have gone on working after they rebuilt the town. The bank is particularly dark and oppressive but it’s more the quality of the heavy masonry than anything else.
Went on a guided tour here in September 2016. While near the prostitutes corner area, myself and several others near me hard loud banging noises and shuffling in a closed area. The area was boarded off from the public and no one was allowed there, but several noises were heard on several occasions. We stayed in this area for several minutes while the guide talked. I even asked the guide if there was anyone else down there and they said no.
5 years ago, when I was in grade school, my class took the tour. We were near the bank, but not quite there yet when me, and a couple other girls saw a man in a boiler hat. I barely remember it, but when we reached the bank, our guide told us the story of one of the hauntings.
