Rock Point Cemetery

Reports say a hooded figure with a lantern has been seen strolling through the cemetery, but it disappears when people get too close. Eerie lights and sounds and a green fog also have been reported, and some fire occasionally blazes from the crypts. Visitors’ cars have suffered broken windows while driving through. The hauntings, some say, can be blamed on the nearby Oregon Vortex.

  1. I used to live not 4-5 miles from here in Sunny Slope Mobile Ranch. I have actually seen all things mentioned. Both of my ex-in-laws are actually buried there. I have seen a little girl in the daytime catching butterflies while going past as a passenger. But she disappears when she notices you seeing her. I have actually seen a wagon pulling out one day in 97. I actually stopped for it, but as soon as it turned, going to Gold Hill, it was gone. My daughter, who was 9 then, saw it too. She saw it first, she asked me to watch out.

  2. Iwent to the cemetary drunk at night with h some buddies of mine and saw the lights and not only that we saw old truck lights where a truck couldn’t even go. I stupidly danced on top of a crypt that night
