Visit Theater 14 in this complex and you may see a ghostly theater patron who favors a corner seat. In the restroom, some have heard the young victims of a nearby school bus crash. Why all the drama? The place was built over the site of an old heiau, a Hawaiian temple where human sacrifices where performed.

  1. I went into the men’s room across from theater #2. The stall was occupied, so I stood waiting by the wash basins. I rested my cane aginst the sink and turned facing the occupied stall, waiting for the occupant to come out. He finally exited, and I reached for my cane. My cane was nowhere to be found. No one else was in there, but my can had vanished into thin air.
