According to legend, the keepers son killed his family now he haunts the grounds trying to find his dead parents. this 116 foot black lighthouse was built in 1872 but is no longer in use.

  1. A shadowy figure has been seen in the light room and on the property especially on foggy nights and mornings. This is most likely the former light keeper, Harry Claiborne, keeping his light house in tip top shape and lighting the way for all those in need. The lighthouse itself is known to shine bright with an eerie glow during stormy or foggy times even when electricity is out.

  2. It looks about the same as the previous pictures it’s on private property and has signs posted with no trespassing so I have to take photos from the road across the street. still, it’s a kewl place to view and take pictures.
