Some say the ghost of a little boy appears in the Payless breakroom. So his story goes, he badly wanted a pair of shoes but his mother said no. Upset, he ran out of the store and was struck by a car and died.

  1. When I walked in to payless with my mom and brother we went to get shoes for my brother. I felt a creepy vibe but nothing happened. If this place is truely haunted then there would be a lot of activity not just a creepy vibe.

    • I felt the energy of a spirit good spirit in the back of the store. Very cold area of spirit in my presence. I had read about this place and went in asking if the boy was there. I put a pair of boy shoes on the floor. They never moved but it brought him there.
