Orlando Executive Airport

You are here Home  > Military >  Orlando Executive Airport

In late 1944, the Orlando Army Air Base was home to between 600 and 750 German prisoners of war captured during World War II.  Many of the prisoners were put to work in the local citrus groves.

After the war, the air base was repurposed into the Orlando Executive Airport.  Visitors to the western part of the airport have heard voices, perhaps in a foreign language, late at night when no one else was around.  Could it be the voices of some German prisoners of war who may have died at the camp?  No one knows for sure.

  1. Right next to the airport there is a shopping plaza. If you walk on the alley behind the plaza ( next to the airport ), you will notice a very eerie feeling. There is a lot of negative energy stored in the back of those buildings.
