  1. I’ve only heard of paranormal phenomenon here, however, I was raised quite a way up the road at a place at that time by the name of Spruce Hollow Farm. The foster family’s names were John & Antoinette Stump. In fact John Stump Sr. Ran an H&R Block office & did many ppl’s income taxes for many years. I have an evp detector & would very much like to one night go here and see this for myself. Could you tell me where I can park & where this woman walks the road? Does she cross back & forth or does she just walk up & down the side of the road? And what time is the best to see/hear anything? I also have other devices that would come in handy for such viewing/investigation purposes.
Thanx! And I hope to hear from someone soon.

  2. I’ve lived in Walton my entire life. My father owns a business less than a half mile away. A childhood friend grew up in that house.

I have never seen anything, neither has anybody I know personally. Lame.

  3. I’m the childhood friend of Andy that grew up in that house and I’ve never came in contact with a ghost. Also, the story you have is wrong lol. A young girl is said to have died in the house by falling down the stairs, no horse involved. If you can find the book titled “things that go bump in the night” you will find the story.

The bed and breakfast is closed only because they built a motel across the street.

    • Do you know which “things that go bump in the night” book? There are a few and I already bought the wrong one. Any help appreciated!

  4. My aunt told me she knew the people who owned this place. She said not once did they ever mention anything about it being haunted. She has been in this house/farm.

  5. Of course the owners do not spread the rumor of any haunting, they feel it would be bad for business. In reality, a young man died in that house from falling down the stairs, not a young girl.

  7. I was born & raised in Walton NY. I was in a car with some friends one night & I witnessed a woman in a long white nightgown with black rubber rain boots on just standing by the side of the road, almost like she was waiting to cross the road.
