Normandy United Methodist Church is housed in a building that was once a mansion. But the mansion’s owner never left, according to some, and she still haunts the church. Her perfume has been smelled late at night by the cleaning crews when no one else is in the building.

  1. I grew up playing in and around Normandy church 84-89. I’ve seen and heard things inside the mansion late at night from the main residence to the staff quarters. One snow day off school when the church was closed I remember going down the hill behind the mansion on a sled. Upon reaching bottom of the hill and climbing back towards the back patio I saw a women in white in the attic window watching us sled. Needless to say I ran home. Had several experiences there over the years.
