We stayed at the hotel last weekend and when we awoke on Friday morning we simintaniously saw the TV flash on with a symbol and then off again without either of us touching the television (the remote was on the other side of the room). Strange we thought and then on Saturday morning as my husband sat at the end of the bed putting his shoes on, the dresser drawer just rolled open without being touched. We stayed in room 246.

  2. My stay at the hotel was crazy I am 13 years old and I stayed there 3 days ago and I saw the woman who was murdered at the “hooker house” before it was a hotel and the security guard asked my dad how he was with ghosts and later that night my mom saw the woman in the closet but she didn’t tell us about it bc I have a 7 year old sister with us and my parents didn’t tell us it was haunted til the day after and later that night I opened the closet too and the woman was there and I have some pictures that show a woman on the stair case near the room before u go in.

  3. I read tha disclaimer on dis website but my experience it true!!! Im a black female & we aint gone lie bout no ghost! I had stayed @ Maison St. Charles b4 w/ my fiancee who is frm NO & im frm Dallas Tx…we have since broke up. I was bk in NO on 12/8/15-12/14/15, on unofficial business,1st two night i booked @ Maison St Charles! 1st thing in rm 143 no wifi even tho i was connected & one cell bar even tho i hv Sprint! I immediatly asked to b moved… Staff would not! So the i went on & eventually went to sleep for the evening! I then had a dream of a white woman about early 30’s long brown hair in a white night gown walking in the very court yard where the hotel was! She did not harm or interact wit me but spooked da hell outta me!!! The next morning i asked to b move again & staff did not want to for some reason… But i demanded & after being worn down with their excuse of y they cant move me here and y they cant move me there i jus said well move me next door anywhere but the room i stayed in last night, then i told the manager what happened & she rold me the history of the house , so i decided i was not goin to sleep the 2nd night & soon as i doze off the tv made a noise loud enuff to wake me up & the screen was blue & said ” no siginal” my heart was racing!!! I was jus like oh well im not leavin so who evee u r u jus b. To wait till i check out! Verry spooky place!!!

  4. During Jazz Fest week in New Orleans my family and I stayed in room 126 on Saturday April 23, 2016. We didn’t know anything about the history or looked into the hotel before check in. We did a last minute trip to the city and looked everywhere for an affordable place with vacancy. After we settled in we went to sleep and my son and husband stay on the bed. Air conditioner off and it felt like it was 30 degrees in there. We were comfortable there though. We loved the setting of the room and the suite, but noticed different things happening. While video taping our stay we seen a light flicker and a chandelier sway. Then we took pictures of us on the bed. Well, we attempted several times to take a decent picture and they all came out blurry or fuzzy. You can tell the pictures I have posted that my husband is very fuzzed and my son sort of too. At the bottom looks like we captured a spirit. At that time I went to go check the door because we heard a knock after I set the timer on our camera. We did not see the picture until we came home and look through all the photos. At night I stayed on the sofa so I can work on a project on my laptop and my hubby and son slept on the bed. They both said the bed felt uncomfortable and eerie feeling. My kid said to us “she said no more pics mama”. That is when we really freaked out and then the curtain flew open a second and slowly closed.

I don’t know if we will stay there again, not because of the haunting, but in case we have a bigger deal or something in the center of New Orleans come up. We did like the morning food and the amenities. And enjoyed out time there.

  5. We stayed at the Maison hotel for a weeding the end of January 2017. What a great hotel, but I definitely had three weird encounters. We stayed in room 240 I believe. While sleeping I felt a presence standing over me. I thought it was my sister and I believed she was disorientated and maybe couldn’t find the bathroom. I told her the bathroom was the other way, but when I gained some clarity nobody was there and my adult sister was zonked in the bed .
The next night we were at a grooms dinner in the conference room on the premise. The party was winding down and I was talking to a couple family members and we were located by a table that had the buffet. A females voice said “Excuse me”, in my left ear and I immediately turned to acknowledge it, as I thought it was a banquet worker. Nothing. Nobody was there but my uncle beside me heard it and my sister stated she new something happened by the way I broke from the conversation and turned to see what was behind me. My puzzled face also was a clue that something had occurred.
The last night I was there, I went to our room around midnight and my sister was talking outside with family. I decided to call my wife and check in. While on the phone with her, my sisters suitcase was pushed off the chair or desk and landed flat on the floor. It made a loud noise and my wife on the other end of the phone asked “what was that”? I didn’t see it but I knew what it was. It had to be pushed with great force as it landed flat and didn’t tumble. The suitcase was unzipped and it nothing fell out.
My cousin and his wife heard footsteps in their suite and the tv had a white glow making crazy shapes until they grabbed the remote and turned the tv on.
I never felt uncomfortable with any of the experiences and it seemed whatever it was had a pleasant demeanor and didn’t feel evil at all.
I was a skeptical believer prior to my stay at the Maison St. Charles, but I’m not skeptical of the paranormal anymore. I canT say for certainty what was standing over me, if anything, but the other two experiences were clear and unexplainable. I would stay there again.
