Lafayette Hotel

Voices and footsteps have been heard in empty hallways and rooms, while appliances turn on and off by themselves, doors open and close on their own and furniture and luggage is moved around suites. Staff and guests have seen misty apparitions in the corridors, and a ghostly maid in a black dress has been seen on various occasions in the historic hotel.

  1. I stayed in the upper most room in the newer addition. Lots of activity. Situations where my mouse curser would move by itself across my computer screen, this lasted the whole time I was at the hotel. When I got home I had no problem with my computer. I video taped it to show my hands were not touching my computer. There was a noise of a child talking at the end of my bed at 2-3 am in the morning. I turned to see if my daughter was awake. She was sound asleep. I had a horrible dream that I believe was not a dream. I can’t describe it in words but I would fall into it every time I closed my eyes. It was more a “feeling”, like something was trying to suck the soul from my body. I heard voices like they were underwater, and I could feel an energy on the other side of my hotel door. NEVER had this experience before, NEVER want to again. Slept with the lights on with a bible on my chest.
