Apparently there’s said to be a ghostly presence in this vintage clothing shop that likes to move items around on the racks, according to Kim Cool’s excellent book, “Ghost Stories of Tampa Bay.”

  1. I very much enjoy walking around Ybor City. This particular store is one of my favorites, as it’s always fascinated me. I went in the one day just to browse and was the only one in there aside from the woman at the cash register. While in the back room looking through vintage hats I felt a cool breeze on the back of my neck. When I turned around I seen a dark haired woman standing in front of one of the clothing racks. Two problems with this….1) She wasn’t the woman at the front of the store (not so strange as it is a shop). 2) She was composed of what looked like mist. Meaning I could see through her.

Oddly enough though, I really didn’t feel scared. She turned and smiled at me and then just disappeared. I don’t think she’s malevolent, I just think that she is attached to that store.
