Locals say the ghosts of two pro-union farmers from Civil War times haunts this area. They were killed by Confederates and buried nearby. Some nights, especially with a new moon, the two are seen walking near the bridge or sailing their boat. Often the smell of death or rotting flesh is noticed around them.

  1. This bridge is relatively new (and was rebuilt around 2010), so the spirits mentioned are, more than likely, connected to nearby John’s Pass (which is also haunted) and not to the bridge so much. There is also the ghost of a little girl that is said to haunt this bridge. She fell off the old bridge and broke her neck, but according to people I have spoke to, they say she is also haunting this newer bridge too

    • me and my wife are on the pass around 10 when we were around the stairs by the bridge that lead to the Past right underneath the bridge so far we got on to the past and still investigating my camera flux fluttered when I was trying to take pictures in my evi peter make meter was going off because I was taking pictures because it was going off and it was just weird feel that there is a very high presents

  2. I seen the most unexplainable thing on treasure island behind the bilmar across from McDonald’s on gulf Blvd and another entirely different occasion on Indian rocks Beach so our beaches have some explaining to do
