The historic manor was once a nursing home, and folks claimed the spirit of a little boy would pay a visit now and then. It was said that those who saw him would pass away shortly. Witnesses also have reported full-body manifestations that float through walls.

    1. This place is definitely haunted. In a recent ghost investigation (during the day), my friends and I recorded numerous EVP’s, ranging from a woman whispering “can I say something”, to an unearthly growl that was heard numerous times over the course of 3 minutes near the elevator entrance in the basement. I, myself, was touched in the aptly named “creepy hallway”, and a white mist was seen outside before we even entered. In addition, we had numerous direct response EVP’s throughout our 1.5 hour investigation, many of which were in direct conjunction with spikes on the K2 and our other EMF detector. There is no doubt in my mind this place is extremely haunted, and I look forward to our next investigation, which I hope will be at night!

    2. Been here a few times,(going back in April). We do all night investigations and its never boring. I got a lot of EVPS all that are clear and can be heard well. Also got a lot of pictures with orbs in them.

    3. I visited this site a couple of years ago and while there I had a K2 meter light up like a Christmas tree; it topped out, dropped back down to nothing and then topped out again and then that was the end of it. I searched the area with the meter to see if there was some electrical source that set the meter off, but there was nothing. I also sat in the rocking chair of the blind woman (I asked nicely) but I don’t think she liked me sitting in her chair as when I got home I found that I had two fresh scratches on my back. My sweater was actually stuck to the scratches so some blood was involved. I had been heavily dressed so nothing on the chair could have been the source of the scratches. A fascinating place.

    4. My grandmother used to work there and she said It was very scary for her because she had a guy that was in his 90s and he would go down to the gift shop with out telling the nurses. Once in awhile he would buy flowers for my grandmother. Then he past on Oct 31 (Halloween) or his Birthday at 3 in the morning. On that day there will be random flowers on the table with my grandmother’s name on it , but the weird thing was that was after the manor closed down in 2004. Till this day the flowers just randomly show up on Halloween. My grandmother likes to go every once in awhile to bring back some of the memories that she shared there.

My uncle was in that nursing home back in the late 1980’s. It felt creepy . I felt horrible that he had to stay there.
