The early-1900s Highland House, no longer in operation as an inn, was said to be haunted by the ghost of a housekeeper who set fire to the master’s previous house after he turned away her advances. Witnesses have heard voices and seen doors open and close on their own.

I live in this haunted house. The piano plays by itself. I see and smell cigar smoke, it smells of cherry’s. I have dolls’s that move and play tricks on me. I see imagines of spirits flowing up and down my up stairs hall. Guest have been pushed down the front stair case. The basement is very scary, I refuse to go down to the basement, been locked in for over 6 hours until the basement door magically opened on it’s on. This house is extremely haunted and active.

I WAS ONE OF THE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS AT THIS HOUSE IN THE MID 1990. I WAS THE VIDEOGRAPHER AND I CHOSE THE DOLL ROOM AS MY FAVORITE, TO WHICH I CAPTURED SO MANY GIGGLES AND VOICES. ONE DOLL SITTING ON THE MANTLE AT ONE TIME HAD BOTH EYES OPENED BUT AT SECONG GLANCE, ONE EYE WAS CLOSED. SO MUCH MORE ACTIVITY IN THIS BEAUTFUL HOUSE. ITS A MUST SEE AND VISIT TO EXPERIANCE IT YOURSELF.. THANK YOU AGAIN DR. AND MRS. HOLZHAUER.
Me and my sister were looking for multiple things to do this Halloween and come across this. And was wondering if we could check this out or if it would cost, just asking to see.
