  1. As I research my family history I found that I had a Cousin, Lieutenant-Colonel Valentine Cupp that died in the southeast parlor of the Lee House in 1830. Mortally wounded on the field and taken there
    and died that evening

      • Very interesting connection, Harry. I’m sorry he passed under such circumstances…we are not from the area but live here now. my teen son and I toured the mansion a while back. There is definitely a “other” type feeling in the house..We used to belong to a investigating team back him in Buffalo, but haven’t gotten involved yet with one here…I am actually thinking of starting my own team here, as it has been difficult to get a response from the few teams I have contacted here so far..Are you interested?
