A ghostly girl wearing glasses has been known to appear along Girvin Road after midnight, motioning for passersby to stop their cars. She disappears as soon as the driver looks away.

I lived off Girvin Road since 1994. Many hours have I traveled after midnight. Yet have I seen anything after midnight but a car
I actually saw her after hours of driving up and down Girvin Rd. She had blonde hair, glasses and was summoning me to stop. I might mention that I taunted her by saying “If you’re real SHOW YOURSELF!!” As I came around the curve from Mt. Pleasant to Girvin Rd. heading towards Atlantic Blvd. She was summoning me to stop. Needless to say I did not stop. She was in solid form, and it was very eerie to say the least. I’m a sensitive to these things, so I wasn’t surprised that she eventually showed herself to me. It was scary for sure.
