  1. Many years ago, I believe 1990, I was invited to a birthday party, and of course it was in October close to Halloween. We took a hayrack ride and ended up at Gilbert’s. Not given any choice, I had to go in and the adults were scaring us in Halloween costumes. Anyway, trying to avoid getting scared, I was PUSHED! I did not trip and no one was nearby…Not sure what pushed me. After the fact, my mom told me it is haunted.. Definitely made me a believer!

Very haunted. We heard Indians noises that sounded like a raid, it got colder by the Gilbert gravestone. Very creepy and very much haunted.

i was chased by a lighted wagon considering this was at 3:30am and it was going 85 and i was doing at least 95 just to get away from it on the gravel road definitely had the spooks and scared to go back there again

  4. Completely destroyed!! Do not know what happened here, but all wrought ion fencing & archway…gone!! There are many many missing stones…the ones still there are broken, sunk in the ground or in a pile. Huge burnt circle up off to the right back of cemetey. The trees are snapped & burnt like multiple lightening strikes….Gilberts headstone with the haunting inscription that mentioned the taking of children’s souls & the promise of his return is missing!! Growing up around here we frequented this cementary often…if you took a souvenir …you didn’t make it far…usually a car wreck not far down the road & whatever was taken always mysteriously ended back in the cementary where it belonged!! This can’t be good!!
